What I'm writing
My writing projects can be divided into two main categories, original works and fanfiction. There isn't one big shared universe for my original stuff, each of them exists in their own self-contained little world with completely different sets of characters, worldbuilding, levels of "supernatural-ness" in their own locations, time periods, etc. So when documenting my original characters I prefer to start off with establishing the basic ground rules of the world and the general story, then move onto the individuals that exist within it. I've got a couple of these, all existing in various degrees of incompletion. One day I will finish an entire story...!
Anyway, here are links to each of these worlds. I will make this look pretty with custom buttons and stuff later.
- Grey and Parker - I still haven't come up with a formal name for this story yet beyond the two characters that it centers around. The tale of an emotionally unwell man who seeks to become immortal to preserve his beauty, and his friend who never forgets about him after his successful mission results in his disappearance.
- The Expedition of Enlightenment - Set during the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration, this story follows a crew of one such expedition as they experience many horrors, caused by the human spirit and unknowable natural forces alike. Even the expedition commander doesn't seem to be feeling like himself anymore...
- The Show Must Go On - This dystopian, 1920s-inspired story follows a band performing on a cruiseship to Mars. Many deaths and strange occurrences put everyone on edge, and threaten to pull the band apart as they find themselves in the middle of much of the drama.
- Pale Horse Locomotive - This story is NOT my original creation, it's my friend robee's, but I've contributed several characters to it and they deserve to be catalogued here on this site. A large cast of whimsical characters, all inspired by unique tarot cards, ride a magical train to many times and places and learn to be the best versions of themselves along the way.
As for my fanfiction, almost all of them are about Return of the Obra Dinn. The odd one out is one I made for Type Help. There are some other games that I would really like to write fics for as well at some point, but I haven't had the time or strong enough inspiration for it yet.
