Video games
Video games are a huge part of my life. I started off mostly as a Nintendo kid, playing on my Wii and DSi with the occasional computer game thrown in there, as well as some stuff on my dad's Xbox 360. Then eventually came the 3DS and Nintendo Switch, which both got lots of love from me. Around 2020 I got more into PC gaming, as it had so much more to offer, especially in terms of indie games which I seemed to vibe much more with than your typical AAA stuff. Initially I used a "gaming laptop" for this purpose but it started to crap out on me after a couple years so I upgraded to a prebuilt "gaming PC", which is what I use right now. Unfortunately this PC has been almost constantly plagued with mysterious technical problems, causing me much frustration over the two-ish years I've had it. I'll probably build my own PC from scratch to replace it whenever it does finally decide to completely give up on me.
My favorite genre is detective/mystery stuff, I'm always on the hunt for more intriguing stories that have me make use of a pen and paper. An interesting story is almost always a requirement for any game I play, even if it's not a mystery game. I call myself a fan of horror games but I'm also sort of a huge wuss lol. I've been really into achievement hunting lately, and sometimes try to focus on grinding them out instead of buying new games (which is a problem I do tend to have).
